Just a reminder to Faculty that they
submit their fall 1982 film booking
lists by June 1, 1982 if possible.
This will enure that their requests
have priority over outside bookings.

HERITAGE TRUST - STUDENT
WORK PROJECTS

 

We have just received information on a
new student employment program that
some of you may be interested in. ‘The
British Columbia Heritage Trust Program
has been developed to assist heritage
groups, public or private organizations,
and university and college students
throughout the province.

The Heritage Trust seeks to “encourage
and facilitate the conservation, main-
tenance, and restoration of heritage
property in the Province". Funding will
be considered for any project that con-
forms to this objective.

the Financial Aid Office.

 

LIBRARY SUMMER HOURS

On April 28, the Library will begin its
summer schedule; 0830 - 1630, closed
Saturday. The McBride Campus Library
only will be open Tuesdays and Wednes-
days until 1915.

Pre-booked audio-visual materials will
still be available - for details call
the Audio-Visual Unit at Local 261.

 

 

GEORGE WOOTTON SCHOLARSHIP

 

Two scholarships (of approximately

$500 each) in honor of George Wootton,
the first President of Douglas College,
are available this year to graduating |
students in any program who have shown: }

1) superior scholastic ability, and
2) significant participation in College
and community activities.
Candidates for this award must be nam
inated by a student, staff, or faculty
member. Nominations must inculde a
letter of recommendation giving the
reasons for the nomination.

Nominations for candidates from the May
1982 graduating class, should be sub-
mitted to the Financial Aid Office by
May 7, 1982.
