Students Dawn Patterson, of the Dental Assistants program, and Shemin Juma,
of Accounting, collect a pair of awards from Douglas College at the June 20
college board meeting. Patterson won the Lieutenant Governor's Silver Medal for
academic excellence in a one-year program and Juma collected a $600 scholarship

and award from the Certified General Accountants Association.
