Four Women

This film tells the very personal stories of four women
(out of some 60,000 Canadian women) who have had breast cancer,
the biggest single killer of women in their prime. They tell
how they faced their crises, describing their fears and
anxieties about surgery, and the support they received from
family and friends. One of the four women did not live to
see the program. 56 min. 1978.

Louisbourg

This film shows the restoration of the Fortress of
Louisbourg, an historic landmark on the Atlantic shore of
Cape Breton Island. The fort was originally built by King
Louis XV. Its restoration is considered to be the biggest
archaeological dig in North America. A detailed account of
what was involved in the reconstruction and refurbishing.
