CHAIR IN WOMEN’S STUDIES

The Women's Studies Program at Simon Fraser University is seeking

a senior candidate for the Ruth Wynn Woodward Endowed Chair

beginning in either May or September 1988. The appointment may be
made for eight or twelve months. Applicants with a specialty in
Canadian women and the arts are invited; expertise in feminist
literature and literary criticism is particularly sought. Appli-
cants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and must have
appropriate academic or professional qualifications. Responsibilities
will include teaching, public lectures and community outreach. Salary

will be that of a senior scholar.
