MS. ED'S NOTES:

This will be the last Ms. Ed's Notes from
my typewriter. My three years at Douglas
College have been interesting and learning
ones, and I leave a number of good friends
here. I would like to thank all who have
made my tasks here easier and wish you the
best of luck in future.

An offer of a better position came rather
suddenly, so it has been impossible to say
good-bye to you all except belatedly in
this issue of the Hatter.

411 Full-time & Part-time Faculty:

Because of current chaotic conditions on
311 our campuses....(office switches, campus
switches, etc.) everyone should check to make
sure any printing jobs they have requested for
telivery up to now have been received.

The printshop is presently up-to-date on
21] its work, so if you have requested work for
any date up to July 28, you should now have it.

If you haven't, you-should first check
your former office, and any other campus or
diace it might be, then the campus supervisors
concerned, before contacting the printshop at
jocal 227S.

Re: Request for Reserve Lists

The deadline for submitting requests
for the placement of items on Reserve
is (Aveust 70, °° 1978:

The "Request for Reserve" forms are
available at the circulation desk in |
each campus library. Please give com-
plete information on the forms to ensu:
quick processing.

We wish to process the majority of
the Reserves before the start of the
semester. This enables us to respond
to emergency requests and the requests
of sessional faculty. If the deadline
is not met, processing could take up
to three weeks from the date that the
"Request for Reserve" forms are sub-
mitted.

Reserves are not available at Maple
Ridge and Langley. All library mater-
tals held at these locations are on a
reduced loan period of one week.

that affect the placement and removal
of Reserve items please contact the
Reserves Assistant on your home campus
