2 ; i sis Other Press April 8, 1994 Douglas’ Best Honoured at t Sports Bang by Candice Lee ajAog eunsuys Aq oyoyd This year’s spring banquet was held on March 25. All 12 sports teams as well as special guests from the college administration and sports program supporters were present. The evening started off with an excellent dinner, followed by the awards ceremony which was hosted by Douglas College Student Society Vice-President External, David Sea- weed. All went reasonably well ex- cept that the awards and speeches were rushed by the time factor put on by the organizers. All teams did reasonably well this season and hopefully next year will be even better. Good luck to all teams!
