I walk in to 86 Street to see
the already small dance floor
covered with tables. I guessed
they weren’t kidding when they
said this was an "acoustic " set.
When I go see TPOH I expect
people dancing ‘their brains out
not mellowness- well I got
mellowness.
The stage was really simple.
Just 5 chairs at the front. The

 

wasn’t until the band slipped
into some older tunes that the
rest of the crowd got into the
music.
As usual Berg was the only
one in the band to talk to the
audience. He did his usual thing
which is to laugh at other bands
and make jokes about Axl Rose.
What was not usual was that all
5 members of the band remained
sitting during the entire show.
Not really sitting still but they
still sat. And we finally got to
