DIRECTOR OF HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE RELATIONS UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO The Director of High School and Community College Relations, under the general supervision of the Executive Assistant to the President and Coordinator of Student Services, is responsible for the management of the Office of High School and Community College Relations which is charged with developing and implementing the student recruitment and high school/community college public relations programs for the University of Idaho. The university, a land-grant institution, offers a very wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree academic programs. The University of Idaho, with an enrollment of about 9,200 students, has established as one of its major long range planning goals the emphasis on attracting outstanding students of the state and northwest region to the university. The Director of High School and Community College Relations, working with the eight academic colleges, the student services staff, and the offices of admissions and registrar is charged with providing the leadership to the university's total student recruiting and public relations program directed toward the region's high schools and community colleges. Knowledge of good concepts and practices of public relations and marketing. 3. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. 4, Work experience that demonstrates imagination, innovation, and initiative in achieving results. ~ 5.
