Bob, Shamir and Steven (Men's Singles) split the duties taking half their games to 8 pts or better, Sheila and Serino (Mixed Doubles) performed well for Sheila's first year of competitive badminton scoring 6 points or better in all games but one and dropping one match narrowly (13 - 15, 11 - 15) to VCC. The second round of competition decided in- dividual event champions. RESULTS: Malaspina - Ist (9 wins) Douglas - 2nd (8 wins) Langara - 3rd Okanagan - 4th Once again Linda MacPherson showed her supremacy and went undefeated in match play to win the Ladies' Singles title, and earn the right to represent B. C. at the National Championships, March 20 - 25, 1984 in Montreal . Tony Kho and Damian Chang (Men's Doubles) also found themselves with the pleasant task of packing for the trip east. Bob Chapman (Men's Singles) placed fourth in a strong field, the eventual winner being ranked nationally in junior competition.
