An exhibition celebrating Heritage Month
February 1 to 29, 1988

 

To celebrate Heritage Month, February 1988, the Douglas College Art Exhibition
Advisory Committee invites artists to submit works to an open-juried show of
people, places, buildings, events and natural resources from the past.

The subject of the works should depict our local heritage as it exists or as it once
was. Artists are encouraged to research the history of our area as inspiration
Jor their contribution.

Eligible categories include: painting, drawing, prints, photography, portable
sculpture, temporary installations, ceramics, glass work, fibre arts and
illuminated calligraphy.

The ‘YESTERDAY’ show will be exhibited at Douglas College - New Westminster
campus, the New Westminster Public Library and the New Westminster Arts
Council's "Gallery in the Park”. The jurying will take place on Monday, January
18, 1988 at Douglas College.
