ar ne enOrlenk LIBRARY che ep Business profession A MO$T EXPENSIVE FACULTY IS COMING TO DOUGLAS (FOR FREE) Commencing Monday, January 21, 1974, twelve prominent business executives - one each week - are coming to our New Westminster campus for a series of lecture- seminar meetings. The series comprises a l4-unit credit course for commerce students, but all students and faculty are invited to attend as listeners and non-credit participants. The speakers are top executives from diverse business fields, such as mining, forest products, public utilities, publishing, banking, real estate, merchandising, manufacturing, accounting, transportation, and insurance. Each has reached his present position through experience and competence in many demanding job functions, such as manufacturing processes, personnel, sales, finance, public relations, services, and advertising. WHEN: Mondays, 4-6 p.m. January 21-April 8, 1974 WHERE: Douglas College, New Westminster campus 8th Ave. & McBride Blvd., 4-room complex FORMAT: Two-hour sessions, during the first 30 minutes of which our guest speaker will describe his company, its products, goals, plans, and problems, and his own daily responsibilities and personal strategies.
