If you are genuinely interested in mail getting to the person you have in mind, please ensure you know the location at which they are currently picking up mail. If in doubt, the Campus or College Mail Room may be able to help. Unfortunately, Mail Rooms are not always kept up to date on personnel locations. It may be necessary to check with the Personnel Department. Please help the system to get your communications to your associates in the shortest possible time by knowing the correct destination for your correspondence. When timely delivery is critical, all must realize there are a number of factors which can affect the usual capacity of the system to achieve same-day delivery. In the more important and urgent situations a call to any of the Campus Managers and/or the College Mail Room at New Westminster may assist you in determining the best way to achieve your aim of timely delivery. Special arrangements may be possible to achieve hand-to-hand delivery if this is necessary. Most sessionals are not on any one campus every day. Indeed, many regulars may not be in daily attendance on the campus at which they pick up their mail. Further, faculty may not check their mailboxes daily for a variety of reasons. On the average, a dozen inter-office en- velopes with incorrect locations of staff and faculty are received at the College Mail Room. Additional mail--- which cannot be delivered because either the addressee or whereabouts are unknown,is: received daily. Besides our frustration, the sheer waste involved in late or incomplete delivery is enough to encourage all to take time and care in the correct addressing of their mail. Your cooperation will be appreciated. ....
