The College’s Online Advisory Committee has designed a web site that can expand to accommodate a growing range of college-related information. The opening level of the Douglas College Home Page offers users five basic categories of information. About Douglas College provides introductory information on services, campuses, etc.; The Library will access reference resources and catalogues; Local Intérest includes information for the internal/local college community; What’s New points users to the site’s latest additions; and Educational Programs lists all Douglas College programs and provides links to instructional pages created by departments and individuals. The home page also acknowledges Westminster Savings Credit Union for donating hardware to the system. Communications & Marketing Director Brad Barber says the Educational Programs section offers some of the most exciting potential for . growth on the site, since it can link to pages created by instructors or departments to share work and research.
