The student aid maximum is now %5,200 for Single and %5,600 for married and single parents, up %$1400 from 1983/84. The province has strengthened the eligibility criteria and increased the definition of a full-time load to 80%. Work-study and other aid programs will continue at 1982/83 levels. FORMULA FUNDING It is expected that a system of formula funding will be in place for the 1984/85 financial year. Provision will be made for continued input from the field up to finalization of the process, BUDGET Though not offered as a policy statement it is expected that a constant level of buying power will be maintained over the next three years provided that a 5% increase in productivity can be demonstrated in each year.
