IN CRENTINE MONEMENT A three-hour Friday evening workshop in creative movement is being sponsored by Douglas College January 16, 1976 on the Surrey campus. | Ernst Eder of the Tournesol dance company in Surrey will conduct the workshop in creative movement relating it to sound, lights, music and colors by using rhythmical instruments and assorted fabrics. The emphasis will be on spontaneity, sensibility to one's environment and the utilization of energy in space. The workshop will concentrate on increasing awareness through movement, and on developing coordination, rhythm and flexibility in the individual. Ernst Eder, formerly of Les Ballets Modernes de Paris, and Carole Eder of the Toronto Dance Theatre have been per- forming and conducting workshops all over B. ¢€. since the inception of Tournesol three years ago. Their exploration in experimental dance reflects the uniqueness of this dance couple living, teaching, and performing as a unit.
