A Christmas bash for all college
people is in the planning stages with a

date set and organizers being organized. §

_ The date to circle on your calendar
is Dec. 16, a Friday, and it will prob-
ably be held in the bandroom on the New
West campus.

_ Help is needed for: bartending, sel-
ling tickets, decorating, music and
entertainment, and cleanup. Please
call Ann Raffle at 229/NW.

MAIL EARLY - Personal Xmas Mailing - Savings
Available 3rd Class

Recently a note on mailing costs was circu-
lated to all departments, indicating how use of

3rd Class mail whenever practical, can cut mailing
The same savings are available to

costs in half.
everyone of course - businesses or individuals -
so mail early, mail economically!

For example, a parcel between 1-2 Ibs. can be ¢

mailed across Canada 3rd Class for $1.20, less
than half the Ist Class rate of $2.60. Another

point; 4 parcels between 1-2 lbs. to one address ‘

are more cheaply dispatched as one, rather than
4 separate parcels.

Mailed - Individually total cost is $10.40 Ist and

$4.80 3rd Class.

Combined they cost $4.95 Ist and $2.40. }

speed of handling - so for those who count their

Reorganization

The next meeting of the Committee on
Administrative Reorganization will be
held on Wednesday, November 24th in
the Boardroom on the New Westminster
Campus from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

As Don McEachern was unable to attend
the November 17th meeting, his brief
will be heard at the November 24th
meeting. | -

Please note that a deadline of
December 15th has been set by the
Committee for submission of briefs.
No briefs will be accepted by the
Commit tee after the deadline.
