Tripp (Child and Youth Care Counsellor Program), recipient of the Student Excellence Award. President’s Distinguished Service Award Kathleen Wallden, Administrative Officer, Child, Family and Community Studies, was credited for her dedication to high standards in serving both employees and students. Carol St. Jean, English as a Second Language Instructor, was recognized for her part in the development of the English for Foreign Trained Professionals course and the Certificate for ESL Teacher Training. St. Jean was commended for helping to build the international reputation of the College and the Canadian experience through thousands of short-stay students. Jan Lindsay, Vice President, Education, was recognized for ushering in more new programs in three years than had been developed in the previous 15 years. Her efforts in expanding and developing external relationships in the academic community prove her commitment to serving the best interests of our students and employees. Student Excellence Award Ryan K. Tripp, a second-year student in the Child and Youth Care Counsellor Program (CYCC), received the Award for Student Excellence. ‘Tripp was singled out for his impact on the College community as a student representative to the CYCC Faculty and as a co-creator of the mentorship program.
